Hey, i am breeding feeder rats for my ball pythons, for now i have them in the garage, where it will get cold in the winter.
We have built an outdoor rat rack (from wood and insulated with styrofoam). And now i am wondering how would i heat the thing.
If needed i will post a picture. Thank you, MrBaracuda

You might or might not need to. I have never bred rats, but I used to have 2 of them as pets, and they really don't require much in the way of special heat. If your garage isn't completely freezing, and they're in an insulated wood rack, I think they'd probably be fine. Remember, rats in the wild often go into places like garages during the winter to keep warm.

Thank you for replying. Well the insulated wooden rack is outside... now they are in normal rack, that isnt being heated. And i have heard that they dont breed if its too cold. What are some heating devices that i could plug in thermostad?
