Caging, Thermostats, etc.

Evening.

Has anyone set up their python(s)'s environment to be powered via an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) or backup power source?

If yes:
what do you use
what features are enabled
what is being powered (incl. total power draw)
how long will the battery last in a power outage
Etc.

Cheers :-)

I dont really think something like this is necessary. I had my power go out for 3 days during hurricane sandy and what i did was filled water bottles with warm water and placed them inside socks. This worked really well, obviously if the outage lasted for more than a couple days i would just hook them up to a generator.

Fair comments, thanks. I would be interesting in looking at a few options though.

The Fryettes are pretty expensive though, right?
